Virtual World Theater Online. Avatar Repertory Theater explores art, theater and stagecraft in immersive, user-created virtual worlds. Actors, directors, designers, playwrights and producers are connected around the globe, creating live stage performances in real time to be enjoyed by an international audience, in a virtual world.

Virtual World Theater is a live theater event, with real actors using their voices and operating the avatar's movements. Audience members are also in their avatars, and often participate in the immersive environment. Yes, dragons came to see The Tempest.
